We all know about the major style guides such as the Oxford Guide to Style or the AP Style Guide. But what does a small, fit-for-purpose guide look like? How can you as an editor or language consultant organize the instructions that you give to your clients so that their texts remain consistent?
This workshop will give examples and exercises on making individual style guides both for yourself and your clients. The situations reviewed will be a website, a magazine, a dissertation, and a public organization.
The workshop is given by Revisor Julie Uusinarkaus and it is open for members of KAJ and Nordic Editors and Translators NEaT.
