Payment and fees

Many factors influence the fees of translators. According to valid regulations, each translator and interpreter shall define his/her own fees. There are no fee tables.

All translation work and the basis for their fee should be agreed in writing beforehand.

Do not accept to work for free. Know your value.

For those working in the private sector as employees, Translation Industry Professionals has drafted a minimum pay recommendation that can be used by the members in the member area.
